Ok....so two days ago I got my letter for the CVW, which I heard goes to qualified canidates. But I am yet to get my qualified letter, anyone have any ideas on this. I also found out last night that I got a nomination from my congressman, my BGO officer didn't offer much information, so anything would help.
Also does anyone know if senior grades will make or break you, I've missed alot of school so my grades aren't where I wish they were. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I also have recieved calls from a counselor from the Naval Academy asking me if I would like to go to CVW-but I also have not recieved a letter of qualification. I just recieved my nomination yesterday.

And I would like to ask that question along with you...If senior grades will make or break.

Your senior year grades can hurt only if there is a signicant drop which may show you"goofed off" in their eyes.A couple of B's instead of all A's or even a C would not make a difference. If you went from all A's to C's and D's you will have a problem.

My son was invited to CVW in the fall and had not received a QQQ'd letter when he got the invite. He did receive it just before we went in November. He did have everything submitted by the end of June though and it had all posted to the web by July 14th. He was only lacking the B and G interview because they couldn't decide who it would be. I don't think it's dependent on being qualified. He met people with appointments while he was there from states that do nominations much earlier than here. Hope this helps!
