CWRU or U WISC?(MECH E)

I'm an international trasfer student who've admitted to both
CWRU and U WISC at Madison.
I'm majoring mechanical engineering, and I hope I could go to
a college which has a both good reputation and good academic quality.
I know CWRU has a better faculty/student ratio than WISC does, but
I'm not quite sure if the index is relevant to estimating academic quality especially for undergrad student like me- I heard profs of both schools usually focuses on their researches.
About settings, I was brought up in Seoul and suited in metropolitan surrounding so I think U WISC is better for me in this respect.
Ofcourse I can choose CWRU if I can be assured that academic and reputation of CWRU outvalue those of U WISC.

Case Western Reserve University?

Cwru=case Western Reserve University

They don't. UW has a better overall reputation and the Engineering school is not all that big. More like a smaller college within the university.

Not many Koreans know CWRU, but Madison is well recognized in Korea.
