what do you guys think? I know i've posted on both forums but I really can't decide!

Case, IIRC, has about double the graduate students than undergraduate students. Focus of faculty not necessarily on undergraduate students as a result. Remember that you are choosing an undergraduate program.

It is the undergraduate program at Rose that has consistently been noted for…both in quality (US News #1 ranking) and in innovation (see page 16 of this 23 page volume from the Journal of Engineering Education: <a href=“Journal of Engineering Education (JEE)”>Journal of Engineering Education (JEE); ). No weed out mentality creating a highly competitive environment between the students, either.

The % at Case is more like 45% undergrads and 55% grads. Having witnessed DS’s first year at Case from afar, I can say there was an abundance of Supplimental Instruction opportunities, the instructors and TA’s were constantly available, and “weeding out” was no more than to be expected in any science/engineering program. I can’t speak to the research opportunities/internships/coop at RHIT, but they are in abundance at Case for undergrads as well as grads, and had a lot to do with his decision. Case’s #9 ranking for BME (at universities that DO offer Doctorates) was a major factor also.
As I said in my response on the Case forum, if we’d known about RHIT, DS would have applied there also. It just wasn’t on our radar.
