Good luck for those who want to be on waitlist. We chose to move on from CRWU and prepare for Northeastern University now, given that this is not going to change until very late, even if it does

We’ve moved on, too. RIT here we come! It’s sad my son had CWRU dangling in front of him for so long, but there are many paths to success!

We got an email yesterday telling us they closed the waitlist for 2021. However, they offered guaranteed acceptance for fall 2022. We would have to put down the $500 deposit now though. Did anyone else get that? My daughter thought that they might have sent that offer to pretty much everyone.
No that offer was not offered to everyone. In situations like a waitlist folks always wonder how close they were. You can infer you were top of the list of those who didn’t make it.
Interesting. I was very surprised she got that offer. I really wish they had given us this offer before May 1st. At this point my daughter already committed to another school. Had we known before May 1, she may have strongly considered this. Case was a stretch for her and she was worried that she wouldn’t be as smart as most of the other kids because our school doesn’t offer AP classes and the like.

Given some have been given Spring 2022 admission already and others were just given Fall 2022 admission, I think it is effectively closed.
wait u know some people that were offered fall admission off the waitlist recently? I turned down my spring admission cuz I really wanted to start in fall and was kinda hoping that case would pull through… I guess not 
They weren’t offered admission for this Fall but asked to delay and start in Fall 2022.

In the email my daughter received, they told us they would not be accepting any more students off the wait list. They offered her guaranteed admission for fall 2022 with an approved gap year plan.
That’s why I am confused. My email did not say anything like that at all. I don’t know what’s happening…
