no, but they wrote an email to me asking me to reply to that email if I’m still interested. I got accepted the second day I replied their email.

We said NO to spring semester.
did the same too, not going to wait for a semester to get in there. If cannot come out of waitlist now, will commit to Northeastern instead and move on.

has anyone tried to call case to ask if they will be pulling ppl from the waitlist this yr?
do you know if it was the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd waitlist check that you responded to?

I feel as though I made a mistake saying yes I am interested in spring, because they will place me on the waitlist for spring. Even though they said there’s no difference for fall enrollment, they will probably reach out just because I did say I was interested in spring and give acceptances to people in the fall. is my logic flawed?
The email went to the student. She is international and did not send in a loci.

Just went to the spring admissions meeting. They said that they have not started giving out admissions from waitlist because they are waiting to see if they have spots, they said most likely they’ll start offers aft may 3.
They are not starting to give out admissions from the waitlist until after May 3rd for the spring semester too?

don’t think so. If you qualify from waitlist and someone is less deserving than you, they are not going to go there just because you showed interest for Spring. They know its not binding and would rather have you now in case of a spot being available
Thanks for that info! Now we’re back to hoping a bit again, although we just put a deposit somewhere else.
No, they said by the end of this week they will start giving out spring admission. I was at the meeting and he said there is even chance that before you submit deposit, you can enroll in the spring. As for the fall… decisions after may 3rd which sucks.
But what really scares me is accepting a spot for spring admission, even though I really would like fall. But if I accept for spring, they wouldn’t really consider me for fall anymore and give those spots to someone else. And if I decline spring, then I may not even get to go to case at all! All this within a week time frame. It is all so stressful.

That doesn’t seem right. Maybe you should try emailing your admissions counselor about how best to proceed. It really is so awful. I didn’t expect it to be this bad.
I just want to know. It is very tiring just waiting because we don’t even know how long we have to wait. Hopefully they’ll start giving out fall waitlist seats from next week!
I just emailed my counselor. I will let you guys know what he said. It’s Thursday and they said they would give spring enrollment at the end of the week. I just hope they give admission before I have to pay deposit. Even risking $500, $700 just hurts my bank account so bad. And as for the wait game, I genuinely feel for all kids and their parents. This time is so stressful and in the midst of a pandemic, we just want ONE good outcome. It sucks. We will be okay!
Just got admitted CWRU Spring semester 2022. Attending many webinars, updating grades, updating recommendation letters, and showing interest all paid off!
