I never video chatted with my admissions officer, but I sent her a respectful amount of emails. Don’t panic if she doesn’t respond; mine did not respond to all my emails nor was she able to respond in a timely matter every time. I am sure they are very busy and you have to be mindful of that.

guys, i just called their admissions office. they said that fall spots are currently full and they are less optimistic they would be using their waitlist, but then I said “if students get off waitlist from other schools while committed to case, will that leave room?” and she said “absolutely.” she seemed tired and bored of the same question. My heart dropped when she said “the fall class is shaping up very nicely and we are currently full” I don’t know what to even say…
That honestly breaks my heart. But that kinda doesn’t make sense because when you did a video call with the admissions counselor, she said that even she doesn’t really know cuz only the higher ups know right? so in that case how does the random person picking up the phone in the admissions office know? idk i just don’t want to accept it ig which is why i’m just thinking all this. but we do have until the 28th so anything can change between now and then!

i don’t understand it either. they are giving me mixed signals and the lady who answered the phone seemed to be indifferent. if there is waitlist movement in t-20 schools or ivy league, there is sure to be open spots in case. almost all my friends who are in case are waiting from other schools: vanderbilt, brown, ucla, berkeley, etc.
can someone call admissions office and ask about status on waitlist and see if there’s a different response?
My DS was offered admission today off of the waitlist.

I was admitted off of the waitlist for the spring semester but it costs double the amount the school I already committed to. Going to try and see if I can find a place close to campus and commute because that would actually be cheaper than the school that I already committed to.

It kind of breaks their hearts too…that is why they added spring admits in the last couple of years. They have been working with applicants for months and wanted to offer more slots.
Did anyone get another Waitlist check for this week?
The last one we got was on 5/4 . Did anyone get any emails after that ?
Also if you got off the waitlist , could you please include fall or spring in your post .
