admitted pre-business :)

How come mine still says "processing" info even though I made the priority deadline? =(

what is pre-business? my son was deferred from business

i was also deferred from business and so was a friend of mine

deferred pre-business

i got deferred from prebusiness as well. but what exactly does it mean? we have to wait until March 1? are we on the waiting list?

deferred means ull be thrown into the non-priority pool and reexamined according to the strength of the regular deadline kids like me. u have no advantage though.
pre-business= business school right??
business looks tough...jus called one of my good friends...deferred...i see a trend here

For deferrals: do not relinguish hope. Be aware of the following:

In past years, with rolling admissions, large numbers of those who applied by the priority date were essentially deferred for decision by not receiving a decision in December but instead getting it well after the January application deadline passed (many got word in February or March). This year the same is occurring, just under a different method. Now they are telling you that you are deferred on December 15. However, deferral does not mean its over. Sixty percent or more of those deferred will eventually be admitted (March 1 is now the next notification date). College of Business (and engineering to a lesser but still significant extent) has historically been the biggest culprit in deferring decisions -- COB really likes to see the entire applicant pool before making decisions on 60% or more of its applicants. Thus, unlike what "deferral" may mean at a lot of colleges, your chances of admission have not actually decreased significantly.

i also got deferred .. applied to biz.

i honestly believe no one got into u of i business, so far everyone at my school ive talked to got deferred for business but those who applied to everything else got in...

Deferred
