D-Day Today

OMG! OK I just located the aid package and realized why I wanted D to apply there - 15k merit 22,900 grant 3k sub loan and 2,200 work study - total COA including books and transportation is $53,318 and package is $43,100 with just 3k loan per year OMG! I think we will be heading to Iowa for spring break. Now I really know that wherever she end up, my kid is going to college.

Congratulations, saintfan!

^^^
Congrats Saintfan! My D received a similar package and I had the exact same reaction - she will be going to college next year. The generosity takes my breath away! Carleton’s package is very similar and still waiting for STO. It’s going to be a tough choice. Good luck to everyone deciding on where to go next fall. Grinnell is a great school!

Is the only way to get login information through the school? Or can it be set-up online?

So hype. Where do i find aid/scholarship

Waitlisted :confused: oh well, congrats to everyone!

@burnty
“Go to the services tab for the financial aid award letter. It should be there if Grinnell has all of your documents” alessio

Got my admission packet in the mail today! I’m so grateful for the financial aid… I received a $40,000/yr Grinnell grant!

^ Dang thats awesome!
I didnt qualify for aid but I did get 15k a year scholarship :DDDDD
So pumped yo. Grinnell is real generous with scholarship i got the same or less from some much less selective schools.

Congratulations to all. D is graduating from Grinnell this May and it has been an outstanding education. The Honor merit scholarship and financial aid were fantastic. Grinnell actually increased the scholarship with additional named monies after her second year-they reward good grades and campus involvement. The financial aid was fair and I appreciate that she was able to attend such a great school for a fair price. Good luck to all of you.
