D grade UC Admission?

<p>I received a D in Physics Honors in my sophomore year first semester, but got a A second semester, 750 SAT II Physics and 5 AP PhysicsB Test. I plan on retaking the course at CC sometime. </p>

<p>Are my chances of getting admitted to a UC school ruined? </p>

<p>No - my D had D’s in Algebra 2 sophomore year, retook it for B’s in junior year and got in to UCSC and UCR. But I would recommend retaking either at HS or CC junior year. </p>
