D= I'm so screwed

(1) You shouldn’t give up. Think about it. There are probably what, 10k+ applicants who have filled up their “most significant challenge” essays, and presumably, came up with a way to “manage” it. You’re in good company. (Uh, exclude me from that set; I haven’t come up with my essay. T_T)

Why did you sign up for the SAT2? There are two verses in a song that I like very much.

“諦めきれるモノならば 最初から興味もたない
忘れられるモノなら 必要さも感じないから”

“If it is something that I can give up on,
I wouldn’t have been interested in it in the first place.
If it is something that can be forgotten,
I won’t have felt the need for it to begin with.”

(2) That commercial sounds familiar. Did you film this? [YouTube - Condom Commercial](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWkZ_StRjU0) If not, you might want to consider that it’s been done before into whether it’s going to be on your essay or not.

(3) There are people who get admitted with scores like yours. Although I would agree that you’re disadvantaged.

If you’re 15 why don’t you just apply next year.

Calm down. I’m sure that MIT seeks people who can handle stress (IT’S MIT) and you are definitely not going about your stress the right way.

btw they’re not even looking at your writing score this year

They are not looking Writing score? Really ?

True enough.

It’s somewhere on the MIT site but I can’t find it. I remember being extremely relieved when I found out.

They won’t care even if I get a 0 on writing? :P

Who knows. I considered not doing the writing portion, but I decided to err on the side of caution.

Nope, they don’t count your writing score. You can check on [MIT Admissions | Blog Entry: “MIT Regular Action Deadline”](http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/deadlines/mit_regular_action_deadline_1.shtml)

Btw Mr. P, don’t worry. You’re other stats matter a lot more than your SATI scores as an international. You meet the 700s mark (not sure about CR) for math.

(1) I was just not in the mood yesterday. So forget anything I said. I do the SAT 2 because I haven’t done them yet.

(2) Actually, no. I didn’t know that there was this commercial. =.= Oh no. But it was different. At least it’s not in the supermarket. D= I probably shouldn’t use it even if it’s my idea then. Oh this just get’s worse and worse. /sigh

(3) yes, disadvantaged indeed. =[[

I don’t get it. You’re int’l, so why do you have to concern your SAT score? Or you didn’t take TOEFL?
Moreover, 3 wrong in a bad day or else doesn’t mean you’re not able to do extraordinary things. 700 M doesn’t say much (though I would be angry if I got that :D).
You have gone this far, why give up?

(if I were an MIT adcom, and saw this thread, I would reject you right away without looking at any word you wrote in the application :D)

You know what, you are right. It’s not like I can do anything about it. So if I go on like this it will just destroy me. And I’m not gonna let that happen. =]

Hey you’re the most funny (and inspiring :)) one I’ve seen :D

hey mrpropapanda who knows … some day here you will be writing " yay im in !! " lol …

I take your word for now ranadeep. Let’s hope that you are right. =]

My God, after all, you still say “hope”, MrPanda. Let say “expect” :D

Alright then. Expecto… Hey this sounds familiar. Patronus charm perhaps? Yep.

I’m hoping / expecting these words as well.

I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesmally small, is not exactly zero.

“God does play dice”, huh? :D
