I'm currently a senior in high school and I'm super worried that I won't get into a CSU now! The first semester my junior year I got a 69.6%(D+) in my AP English Language and Compisition class and it's permanent on my record now :-/ I still get passing credit for my high school, but I'm not sure if CSUs will reject my application! :-/ That's the only D I've ever gotten and I have an average 3.67 GPA and a 1500 SAT score. Idk if it helps that I bumped my grade up 2nd semester to a B(A will AP credit) but it would be very helpful if I got some feedback!!! I'm freaking out!!

Here is a link to the UC/Cal State Eligibility Table:

Required “a-g” courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. Courses in which grades of D are earned must be repeated. 4 years of college preparatory English composition/literature (including no more than 1 year of Advanced ESL/ELD). Unless you repeated that D first semester, you are ineligible or if you passed the AP exam, that should be acceptable. See below:::::

Required “a-g” courses may be satisfied with appropriate test scores on SAT Subject Tests, Advanced Placement exams, and designated International Baccalaureate exams. A list of acceptable tests and scores is available on UC and CSU websites. I would consult your GC to be sure.
