D+ in AP chem but i took 1 semester of chem college prep and got an A am i alright?

<p>chances for UC Davis my dream school</p>

<p>intended major- Biochemistry </p>

<p>ok so when i took ap chem as a junior i got a B- and a D+ (i had pnemonia). i remade the D+ by taking regular chemistry and i got an A so am i alright now in a-g requirments or was i suppose to take ap chem again or was i suppose to retake it junior year?</p>

This year i am taking AP Biology and AP Calculus AB which are the last two ap/honors classes my school offers. i have recieved 3 C's in high school 1 in Algebra 2 honors, and 2 in spanish 3 and 1 D in ap chem</p></li>

<p>for uc davis do you think it it a good college to be in so that if i get great grades and great mcat i can get accepted to UPenn SOM and eventually get a MD, MBA or for the ivies i needed to go to a well known university?</p>

<p>If I were an adcom, I’d be weary of the D in a course closely related to your selected major. That said, I think you still have a great shot at getting accepted because the rest of your app [SAT, ecs] may be used for padding.</p>
