I got accepted into UC Davis for CIVIL ENGINEERING and then I received a D+ second semester in AP Physics. I feel so hopeless. School just ended, so there’s nothing I can do about my grade now. What can I do? I reported it and I’m waiting to call them tomorrow after Memorial Day Weekend. Anyone think I still have a chance? I’m pretty desperate.

I got a 1920 on the SATs. My school normally has 6 classes. I’m currently taking 8.
This semester, I received…
Student Gov’t - A-
French 4 - B+
Calculus AP - B
Literature AP - A-
Government - A-
Intro to Technical Engineering - A
AP Physics - D+
Service Commission - A

My GPA before this semester was about a 3.888. I’m Student Body President, do Community Service, active in clubs, thrower in Track & Field.

I really just slipped up second semester. I averaged a high C+ in the class and just bombed one of the tests and got an F on it because I was in a sticky situation and I couldn’t get my grade up in time. I’ve taken four years of science and math, including Trig, AP Bio, and even last summer, I took Chem at the local community college.

This year, for summer, the local community college doesn’t have a physics course I can take to make up for the D+. But I’ve already taken reg physics. Either way, I have a D…

Advice please? Will they revoke my admission? ):
