<p>I mistakenly took AP Physics my junior first semester and got a D in the class :(. Second semester I took normal Physics and got a B and took the Subject Test but only got 580. My weighted GPA is still above a 3.0 (3.4), am I still eligible to ANY Uc's? My top one I want to go to is UC Santa Cruz.

<p>You are eligible to apply to a UC, but you will be competing with applicants that have no D’s on their academic record, that have taken up to 4 lab science classes and a more competitive GPA. Average UC GPA for UCSC last year was a 3.82. You should look at UCR/UCM and some Cal States as backups since UCSC is a low reach with your Stats. See above ^^^ link from @coolweather </p>
