<p>So I have been really worried about sending colleges my community college transcript because I got a D in English 102. All of my other cc classes I got As in, but I just effed up in ENG102 and got a D. So I am able to retake the class and have a new grade for it too, but it is going to end after November, the deadline for the UC applications… Is this a big deal that I am retaking a class? Any advice? thanks</p>
<p>I had the same problem before... Got a D in ENGL1A. However, according to my community college, if you retake it and get an A they will replace the D with the A on your GPA and transcripts. BUT, history that shows that you got a D is there too.
Don't worry too much, I got into every UC (except berkeley) and they dont seem to care that much if that class is not dominant in your major or there was only one such case in the entire transcript.</p>
