I really messed up during my freshman year, and I am very anxious at the moment. I got a D in freshman English first semester, but I got all A’s in every other class. I heard that UC’s don’t look at freshman grades. Will it affect my chances at a UC? And should I retake it???
You need 4 years of English as a UC requirement to apply so you need to retake that semester of English. UC’s look at all grades but only use 10-11th grades for their GPA calculation.
i’d find a way to retake the semester this summer.
