D in honors pre cal

I know i got a d, so please don't criticize me. Im a junior who had A level math before this year. I found out I got a D, and I'm switching to A level Pre Calc. I am considering retaking Pre Calc over the summer to have a good shot at AP Calc. I want the best opportunity to get into an above average college, so what should I do?

If you got a D in pre-calc I wouldn’t really recommend trying to do AP Calculus next year. Why did you get a D?

the teacher told us the outline of the test the day before. I sigh cheated at one section, the teacher noticed, gave me a zero on the quiz. i was getting a 78 before that. i learned from that event. don’t worry about that, i’m a good obedient student. that was probably the 2nd time i did such a thing since middle school.

LOL you aren’t suppose to get caught when cheating smh.

^Yup, it’s called karma. :)

^its called selective answer comparison

This reminded me of the other day, I was taking a make up test with this other kid out in the hall and the teacher came out and picked up his test and under the test he had his review sheet he was looking at. I was like “Whaat?” So the kid got a 0. SMH, it was a little obvious he was cheating when you pull up the test every few seconds.

Sorry, off-topic. OP–still, a 78? AP Calc, sure you can handle it?

If it’s AP Calc AB, it isn’t really any more difficult than precalc.

If you want to look into online precalc classes, I did one through BYU online high school and it was decent. It’s self-paced, which is convenient, but they have very helpful tutors that you can schedule phone appointments with when you need them. Maybe you could even start now and try to get it done before second semester (it’s broken into 2 semesters, so you’d only have to do the first). Then you wouldn’t have to retake a whole class over summer.

Cheating… smh.

Good luck in college, you won’t get any outlines.

I’m pretty sure everyone’s aware that college is harder than high school.
