So sadly, I got a D in my Calc II class this semester. I applied to the UCs, and signed my TAG agreements with UCI, UCSC and UCD. I am re-taking Calc II next semester before I intend to transfer to the UC. This would be my first D in a class ever, and my community college has said that the UC will recalculate my GPA based on my passing grade next semester but leave the fact that I had to repeat the class in my Community College transcript. I can't seem to get a straight answer about how this will affect my TAG agreements though. As long as I retake the class and pass, is my TAG/admission still valid for the UCs I applied to? Thanks!

If your TAG requirements state the course is part of the courses that must be completed by the end of fall, than yes, your TAG will be rescinded.

I have TAP for UCLA…but I had to leave the country suddenly and was not able to finish my major pre-req and ended up with an F…will it count against me even if i retake it?

that will greatly affect you, TAP is not the same as TAG and an F for a school like UCLA looks very bad, you can try to explain why u got an F in the third part of the personal statements on the app, and yes you should definitely take it again, and u should get an A that will make ur presentation in the 3rd essay better.
