D-Plan and graduation options

Hi, I am new here and would like to hear from recent D grads or students. What are the chances to graduate from D (getting a premed track + policy/else minor) in 3 - 3.5 calendar years versus full 4 years? I understand that theoretically this is a possibility, however, is it really an option? Does College support students who are choosing this path?
What are the practical negatives of that decision?

Thank you very much in advance.

I graduated in the '80s and finished in 3 1/2 years. I did two summer terms. I believe there is a requirement that seniors must be in residence all three terms of senior year but I bet there are exceptions with good reason. That said, I wish I had not done it. Senior year, especially spring, is very special.
