I'm currently a junior and run a 52 second 400m, and I'm really interested in running for a college team. By senior year I'm hoping to run at least a 50 and maybe even break 50 and go 49... but I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of schools would offer scholarships whether they are partial or full. Some colleges I'm interested in right now are BC, georgetown, Penn, Dartmouth, UMich, Northeastern

any help would be really appreciated... and also what could I do right now in terms of contacting coaches??

Colleges generally have recruitment forms that you can fill out to get in contact with the coaches. You'd probably find it on the athletics web page.
Also, if you want to run D1, you need to get cleared through the NCAA clearinghouse.

I think it's difficult to get a full scholarship anywhere for Men's track, in part because of Title IX, but that's another story. If you could get under 50 you'll at least have a shot at a partial scholarship at some schools. Penn and Dartmouth (and other Ivys) don't give out athletic scholarships though.
