@NicolleD @h2p2017 Thank you for your replies! I talked to the PhD student too, so it sounds like we’re all in the same boat! That’s a good point that they probably aren’t sending things on the weekend.
@h2p2017 Thanks! Yeah I mean I feel pretty strong about my application, just wish I can find out already. This is the first time I’m applying to the program. I really hope I get in with a scholarship too because If I don’t, there’s less of a probability I won’t go even if I get accepted.
@bioavailability since we are applying to very similar projects do you mind sharing ur gpa and research background, just so I get a sense for the people who applied.
I’m a third year student, GPA is 3.75 and I have worked in 4 labs in the past 3 years.
@Gebraroest yeah for sure. I’m a third year with a 3.91 GPA and I have worked in a cellular biology lab under my mentor/professor since Fall 2013 and since then I have worked/helped on 2 projects and I am currently working on another one. I also have gained proficiency in lab techniques such as mammalian cell culture, PCR, SDS-PAGE and all that plus some exposure to biochem, ochem and chem lab techniques.
I haven’t heard anything and I’m getting really really nervous 
Quick question for those accepted is anyone going to be located in Kiel? That’s where I am going to be. i hope there are some others near me.
