Can I transfer mid year?

What are My chances??
-HS: top 5% of my class, 32 ACT, Near flawless GPA
-College(one of top 30 schools in nation, but doesn’t offer great arch. courses):

3.3-3.4 GPA, really tiny portfolio, currently sophomore with junior standing(will have over 70 credits at the end of the semester)

does it help if i’m a minority, and in-state?

Honestly, I think you have a shot. You would have had a MUCH better shot coming out of high school with the grades and ACT that you had. Now, I would normally give you 50-50 shot. However, being a minority student would probably bump this up to about 65% shot. However, one never knows the affect that minority status may really have. You chances could be higher.

Be advised that when you are applying to almost any institution as a transfer student, your high school GPA, SATs and ACTs are usually not considered.
