Hey everyone, I thought I would start this thread to connect with fellow students who are planning on going to DAAP next year. I am going into the Industrial Design program, and I am pretty excited. How is everyone else feeling about the upcoming school year?

@DAAPGIRL1 no, I am from Iowa. I was really planning on going to school on the west coast, but DAAP is just too good of an opportunity, especially for the money. Where are you from, and what are your plans for housing?

as the mom of a ID DAAPer that lived on a DAAP floor. if you can stay away from a quad please do. my daughter had a horrific experience with 2 of her 3 roomies. too many females in one room all with their own ideas of how things should run in the room.
Daapmom’s daughter really did have a horrific experience, but I think it needs to be said that hers is the exception, and that most quad roommates get along fine. I would not avoid a quad mainly because the DAAP floors are mostly quads, and being on a DAAP floor is a good thing, if you can get a room there.
you all will just love it…learn to budget your time well and you won’t have to pull all nighters for your projects.
