Dabble in EC's: Bad?

I have a couple of EC's and I love them all. It's a pretty diverse group:
Ham Radio Club
Science Club
NHS
Odyssey of the Mind
Latin Club
Key Club
Interact Club
According to some posts I've read this means that I'm not good enough to get into my dream schools which are Yale(i know serious reach), Stanford, and UCLA. Now, since I'm involved in all my EC's, is it really going to hurt me that much because I dabble.?

But why do you dabble?

Having too many different clubs can be good or bad. I think the more prestigious the college, the worse it is. (Is Yale very prestigious? lol)

It will still have to depend. Did you go to one meeting of every club for five minutes or did are you deeply involved in all of them? I assume it is the latter, but what will yale admissions officers think?

There lies the answer.

You don’t have to put every EC you dabble in on the applications…

^ That’s only if you’ve got too many of the “five-minute” meeting clubs on your list.
