Daily Routine

What is the daily routine a Plebe goes through throughout their first year at the US Naval academy in means of going to class and the amount of work they are given?

Check out the info on this link for much of what you’re asking.

A Plebe’s day (AC Year) begins at 5:30 and ends at 11pm with lights out. It is jam packed from sunup until sleep. How much work you have depends on how many credit hours you take (15 or 16 to 21 is typical), and what your ECAs are at USNA. If you’re taking 21hrs, then you’ve got 21 hours IN class and another 63 you need to put in studying OUTSIDE of class. Add to that a varsity or club sport, professional knowledge training and quizzes, physical training on Saturday mornings, duty and watch, and it’s a crammed week. Any Plebe needs to become a master of time management. BUT, know that it can be done and accomplished well. My son did it; you can, too… Just takes a lot of determination, perseverance, and listening to/doing what you’re being told to do…when you’re told to do it.
Plebe Summer is an entirely different schedule, and is atypical to what you’ll experience for the four years at USNA. It is incredibly demanding, but, also surmountable.
