I'm planning to pay $1100 for this SAT Prep program some of my friends recommended: "Karen Dillard's" They have two locations by Dallas (one in plano and one by colleyville). Right now, I'm a sophomore about enter junior year. Does anybody have any input or opinions about this program or have u taken it already and how much did ur score improve. All input is appreciated. Thnx.

no it sucks, i entered in my sofmore yr as well, and i increased 70 points, but thats prolly just natural going from sofmore to junior yr

If you are in dallas, go to Houston and take TestMasterz

I have one friend who took the course and was pleased, but she was shooting for 1200s or so. For the money, I would recommend getting a private Princeton Review tutor. You can add on hours as needed. It is a very efficient way to prepare and is more customized than a classroom. The tutor will have you take a practice SAT before tutoring starts and that lets them know what the focus needs to be.

wow...wut wuz ur friends starting score? i'm currently at about 1950 and am shooting for the late 2200's or early 2300's......do u think thats realistic expectations...i am willing to devote 8 hours a week studyin for sat.......and currently an 'almost' junior. ........basically...i really want to get into my dream school which is Rice University..and i'm really willing to do anything to get in.....Currently I have above a 4.0 unweighted GPA and i'm from a recognized school where i'm taking the following courses: AP English, AP US History, AP Government (summer), Economics (summer), Medical Microbiology, Pathophysiology (last two are honors)....PreAP Spanish, ,,Precalculus PreAp/Trigonometry, AP Chemistry, Health Science Technology Internship (only 24 slots in our school out of 1800 students...i rank number 19 out of 576..i'm vice president of Mu Alpha Theta, i'm in chess club, i'm in spanish club, i'm in HOSA, i'm in Link multicultural club, i work quite a few hours in community work every week. I have a passion for chemistry and health science (i gues u got that from my schedule already), i am a bilingual south asian. please..i need input..thnx

testmasterz.com also offers classes in dallas. It's a good class and fun. they guarantee a 300 point increase on the new sat. either way, always do your own research.
