USC says that transfer applicants can expect to hear by June 1st which is so far away! I kno its because they want some to report mid yr grades as I will probably be asked to (not a good sign) cuz this fall semester of my freshman yr was less than stellar. Anyways im dying with anticipation...

4 more months........

Any of you applying to other schools expect to hear sooner??!!

i am waiting to hear back from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. It is complete torture, i agree! they've got me under 'committee review.' i emailed to ask about that process, but didnt get a response. maybe it's top secret. i hope i hear back soon; they say transfers should get a decision within 30 days from the completion of the application. this sucks though, i want to go there sooo bad!
definitely feeling the scared/excitedness,
Amber

USC takes 4 months!! I guess U of I doesn't care about spring grades. Im pretty sure the way USC admissions works is the strong transfer applicants are admitted without further consideration of spring grades. Tranfser applicants they want to further consider are requested to send spring grades. So i guess if you get a request for spring grades, you are not a strong enough candidate : /

I think ill probably get one cuz this semesters gpa sucked

us uc wannabe's are looking at march 1st- may31st replies. i dont hate the waiting period...it's kind of exciting... every school i applied to has a different atmospher...i can honestly say i'm more stressed about passing my classes this semester than admission letters

Yeah i should have defintly applied to USC after one semester too. I would have had 27 units w/ around a 3.7. Too bad i couldn't afford it unless a huge grant/scholarship would be awarded.

But the thing is they didn't accept me out of HS, kinda weird. Maybe my major was/is impacted.

Do they have spring transfer session? i think they might, hmm.
