We are playing horrible down the stretch. We better regain our shape in the ACC tourney or its gonna be another disappointing March Madness ride. These weaker teams are giving us a helluva lot of trouble. UConn should jump back to #1 next week in the polls, and they probably deserve it. I hope we can stop playing like crap.

Did anyone see how all the FSU fans jumped onto the court with 1.7 seconds left? Damn, I was hoping for Duke to win so bad after that one happened (even though it was almost impossible.)

Not sure it is fair to call FSU one of "these weaker teams", they alway play Duke tough and should have beat them in Cameron earlier this year if not for a horrible call by the ref. Let's face it Dooky, you just got outplayed tonight. The one sport you're supposed to beat FSU in didn't work out tonight.

Yeah, as much as it sucked to lose, I got a pretty good laugh when those preemptive FSU fans rushed the court with 1.7 seconds left...and injured 2 of their own players. Very smart. We may have lost the game, but all of Duke's campus is pretty much laughing at them after that genius move.

it's ok. We got outplayed b/c FSU is breaking their neck to get into a tournament where we are already guaranteed a first seed. We were the better team but we got outplayed, period.
If Duke keeps up it's intense level of play and stifling press defense, there is no reason why we should not win the Nat'l title and bring it back home to Durham.
The other teams are good but in the end, I'm holding on to the Blue Devil magic. It's our year, 2006!!!!

oh yea... and the FSU fans acted like they've never won a game in their lives. calm down.
P.S. There should have been two techs called: one on the fans and one for FSU having too many players on the court.
and maybe a third one on the FSU fans for having such a corny chant song (straight out of Bad Boys 2) LOL

Im fine with the loss, i dont want to go into the ncaa tournament 32-1, with another long winning streak. This way, it wakes the team up, they are gonna play great when it counts, and I cant wait to celebrate the championship in april.

I've got my money on Duke all the way, they're unstoppable. I just hope that Duke doesn't drop in the rankings. I think UConn, Nova and Memphis are overrated. I'm suprised that both games FSU and Duke came so close. It must just be the playing styles

I think this year is the best shot we've had in a while. But UConn is still the beast we can never overcome. I PRAY to God someone eliminates them before we can meet them.

Yeah, UCONN gets us, at least recently, we dominated them before 1999 title game. We will prolly drop in the rankings, but don't worry. We are 27-2 with the 2nd toughest schedule in the entire NCAA (toughest is Baylor, which doesn't really count) UCONN has a terrbile strength of schdule of 38. We have the the number one RPI, by the largest margin 1 and 2 has ever been. Frankly, Duke does not get the respect we deserve, everyone goes UCONN and even Nova over us, sadly I don't see this happening. Who do you want the ball at the last position Rudy Gay, or the best player in college basketball in the past decade, JJ Redick? Not taking away from Gay, but I'd pick Redick.

This is our year, and I look forward to another championship

I think UConn is WAY overrated. The ACC is by far the hardest conference. I don't think we should drop in the rankings, we will, even if I dont think we should. If it's UConn and Duke in the final, I got Duke all the way. UConn just doesn't play anybody good at all! Hopefully at this time next year it will be us camping out in K-Ville!

Haha, I don't like Uconn as much as anybody here, but they are the probably the best team in the nation, in the best conference Big East, and would probably beat us if we faced them. The great thing about March madness is that the "best" team doesn't always win!
