Can any current WashU students give me an idea of how the dance team at WashU is? Or any information about the university choir and a cappella groups? I feel like there aren't many dance groups or choirs at all, according to school website.

it's kinda hard to find all the info on the student groups. there are quite a few choirs and dance teams, but you really have to dig to find the link.

I'm a senior at WU...
you can find a student group directory off the website of the student government (Student Union - SU). their website is http://su.wustl.edu. There are something like 225 groups who all get a portion of SU's $2 million+ budget.

A listing of the a cappella groups can be found at http://acac.wustl.edu or off one of the groups pages (www.mosaicwhispers.com). There is. no shortage of groups to sing with...

Aristocats - coed disney, newest group
Deliverance - coed christian group

Dance Teams: There is a Jive Dance team (http://sugroups.wustl.edu/~jive) and also a cheerleading team. Jive is ok, varies from year to year. Most dancer i know simply take classes in the Performing Arts Dept. or do stuff at COCA (center for contemporary arts) which is next to campus.
