Dance College Help? please : )

Hi : ) This is my first College Confidential Post.
My name is Jen, and I am a freshman in high school, who has a passion to dance. I know what some of you are thinking, she is wayyy to young to be planning for college. In a way you are right, but I really want to create my future. I was woundering if you could help me find my perfect dream college? OH....i have been dancing for about 4 years

-I perfer it be on the east coast, so i could stay close with friends and family
-For the "average" student. Im not the sharpest pencil in the box ; )
-I would like to study ballet(i just started ballet this year...so maybe a beginners corse?), hip-hop(if possible), tap, jazz, lyrical, modern....really any kind of dance : )

I would suggest Point Park. Their Conservatory is rather elite, accepting only 75 applicants a year(out of over 1000 who audition). It has several styles of dance and its in the pittsburgh area

HipHopDanceGirl (Jen),
You could try Marymount NY or Purchase. I would suggest you put a lot of work into ballet classes for the next few years. I don't know of any dance college that offers Hip Hop, but many offer modern and jazz along with ballet. "Dance" Magazine has a college issue once a year that lists all the colleges with major dance programs. You should visit some of the colleges and see what the dance programs are like and what they would be expecting of an incoming student. Good luck.
