Hey all. I wonder if CC goers keep up with dance groups here?

I was thinking of auditioning for a dance group next semester. I did random dance routines with friends in high school just for fun. I was in Berkeley Ballroom for a semester here at Cal (I learned moves for waltz, tango, cha cha, quickstep, jive, etc.) and this semester I'm taking Jazz Dance, PE.
I know my experience might be severely lacking for some groups, but are there groups out there that will teach from a beginner or amateur level? (For ballroom, no experience was necessary.)

The ones I know of (with impressions if I have any),

TruElement -- I know a guy who had no formal training aside from some dance workshops, and he got in. Granted, he might have done a lot on his own...

Movement -- Haven't heard much about this one.

Fei Tian Dancers -- Since I don't have experience with Chinese dance, looks like I'll need to take the DeCal, first.

Main Stacks -- I talked to someone who tried out but got rejected. Apparently they do competitions and perform regularly at Cal events? Sounds too pro for me. One of the reasons I didn't continue with ballroom was because of the time commitment in terms of competitions.

Any more input from you guys? Are there other dance groups out there?
