When my daughter was looking at college dance options, we looked through the old posts under the “College Dance” section of the dancemom com website. I recall seeing that a lot of people felt that the ballet programs at many universities were weak compared to their home studio ballet. It seems that even those not wishing to focus on ballet performance still want a high level of ballet course offerings and also want to have a greater frequency of ballet classes/ week.
