Dances at college?

<p>Hi</p>

<p>I'm trying to join my ethnic student association at my univ. Many of my friends and ppl that I know are doing it.</p>

<p>I looked at the calendar, and there are stuff like semi-formal dances. At high school, I went to some dances, grinding mostly. I can't dance without looking like an idiot. </p>

<p>Are college dances like high school dances as far as the actual dancing part goes?</p>

<p>I went to a dance with a friend when I visited her university. It was exactly the same.</p>

<p>I went to a freshman dance when I visited my current school. It was exactly the same.</p>

<p>Basically, I think they’re probably very similar.</p>
