Super simple question, but I cant find an answer anywhere on their website. Are there any darkrooms available to students who aren't majoring in art? Or, are there traditional photo classes any student could take as an elective? This is super important to my college decision.

There are some darkrooms in a few of the dorms, and I believe that there are some elsewhere open to all students as well. Photo courses offered to non-photo students are in Tisch Open Arts, and you can browse through the course list here: <a href=“Open Arts”>Open Arts;

Thanks!

The Barney building has dark rooms. Not sure who can use them. But all students can enroll in art classes through Steinhardt for non majors. Photography is definitely offered (non- digital. )

To see art classes, search studio art (undergrad) in Steinhardt. Classes listed as Intro to… Are for non-majors. Those listed as Fundamentals of…are for majors.
