<p>Work on your essay.</p>

<p>Well the writing section is essentially never ignored ignored. I mean they won’t factor it into evaluating admission, but they will see it. If you have a 700 CR and 710 M and 480 W, they will not favor it as much as someone with 700 CR 710 M and 780 W.</p>

<p>The fact that you did well on the writing section certainly won’t HURT you, so I don’t see what the problem is. Unless of course you spent countless hours perfecting your SAT-essay-writing skills only to learn that it didn’t matter. Otherwise… well, congrats on your talent. Now work on the other sections, if you need to. =]</p>

<p>Agree with cafesimone - if you’re such a very (very) good writer, that talent will show through in your essay, and you’ll be set.</p>
