Darn it. I've a BioGD 281 "practical test" on slope day afternoon 2:30- 4:30

I think this is a written exam , like the BIO GD 281 Genetics prelims , but I'm not so sure since I skipped the Microbial lab final lab review lecture, since the TA said it was optional.

Too late to ask TA now, but hopefully not too late to study!

Anyone took BioGD BioGD 281 before? Anyone remember how the labs went? I just remember the fly lab was horrible and I missed 3 out of 5 microbial reports. Those aren't worth much,

but a Lab practical exam will worth almost as much as PRELIM!

That’s evil. It almost doesn’t seem possible. I’ve never taken the course, and so can’t help you. Didn’t your professor ever mention it in class, or you TA in section?

lol PCD… They are awesome! Well they can be… haha… And you guys have exams/prelims/quizzes on slope day!!! that sucks!! i thought it was suppose to be a day of fun and relaxation cuz exam is comming up…

Well…Slope Day is held on the last day of class. It’s not an official holiday and professors may choose to hold class if they wish. A majority of professors choose to cancel class…but there are a handful who don’t.

For example, Orgo was not canceled. I was advised to go to class, so I did. But, I may or may not have been sipping from a flask filled with adult beverage while the prof lectured about polymers ;)
