Darn it. I've a BioGD 281 "practical test" on slope day pm! Not ready

Darn it. I've a BioGD 281 "practical test" on slope day afternoon 2:30- 4:30

I think this is a written exam , like the BIO GD 281 Genetics prelims , but I'm not so sure since I skipped the Microbial lab final lab review lecture, since the TA said it was optional.

Too late to ask TA now, but hopefully not too late to study!

Anyone took BioGD BioGD 281 before? Anyone remember how the labs went? I just remember the fly lab was horrible and I missed 3 out of 5 microbial reports. Those aren't worth much,

but a Lab practical exam will worth almost as much as PRELIM!

help

That’s evil. It almost doesn’t seem possible. I’ve never taken the course, and so can’t help you. Didn’t your professor ever mention it in class, or you TA in section?

Agreed, that is evil. You have lots of catching up to do starting from 4:31. =)

Test is easy, pretty straight forward if you did all the microbio work.

Also, Pussycat Dolls for Slope Day? Who decided to have them come to Cornell?

what’s wrong with the dolls? seems like half the school likes 'em and the other half doesnt…

psh…PCD

I’m going to see Bon Jovi at Jazz Fest tomorrow :D

lol PCD… They are awesome! Well they can be… haha… And you guys have exams/prelims/quizzes on slope day!!! that sucks!! i thought it was suppose to be a day of fun and relaxation cuz exam is comming up…

For starters, they cost a lot of money in a recession when great courses in Dutch and Swedish are being cut.

But more importantly, they have no musicality and act as woeful role models for young girls everywhere.

Why can’t they just get the Sim Redmond Band to play?

Happy Slope Day.

Well…Slope Day is held on the last day of class. It’s not an official holiday and professors may choose to hold class if they wish. A majority of professors choose to cancel class…but there are a handful who don’t.

For example, Orgo was not canceled. I was advised to go to class, so I did. But, I may or may not have been sipping from a flask filled with adult beverage while the prof lectured about polymers ;)

Oh the Slope Day memories…

dang oro chem class… next year imma have to take oro… and i heard its going to be torture…

not sure how funding for this works but didnt the students want their money to go to bringing better acts?

Yep. At the expense of the endowment. Now go have some fun.

I have my last Japanese discussion class at 2:30 and after that we are going to watch PCD perform with our sensei’s. Yay!

i just had my physics final today. i went to slope afterwards, boring so i came back and went on CC!!.
