For those applying to Penn, it says that they just want the two highest scores. Not once place says that they have to be in totally different fields (such as Math and U.S. History). After all, they will also see your AP scores, so I’m sure for those that took APUSH, APWH, AP Lang, etc., they will see you are good at all subjects.

thanks for the replies, everyone. but im still a bit lost.

would submitting Chinese800 look bad? because Im a native speaker?
So far, Ive only submitted Chinese and Math2c… :/

Also, I HOPE I don’t come off as one-dimensional, because my whole point in taking science/math tests was because I was lopsided in my EC, i.e., EIC of two diff newspapers, intern reporter at a national Asian publication…

I seemed to have seen somewhere mentioning the SAT2 language tests are for non-native speakers. Perhaps in the preparation booklet I’m not sure:p

Well, my advice is that send them the chemistry or physics one. Being a native chinese already indicated you know a second language, which is what all the language tests are proving:)

BTW, just curious, are you an international? and which Penn department are you applying?

Well it depends on what you mean by “native speaker”. If you were born in China/Taiwan and learned Chinese there/are living there right now, then yea I guess the 800 in Chinese is meaningless. But if you have English as your primary language, and Chinese is a language you learned through a Chinese School type program (Saturday/Sunday school), or you learned through your high school even, then the 800 is by all means valid, considering it is a SECOND language, not a PRIMARY language.

Hey everyone,
thanks again for all the replies! I guess sending my late chem score is all I can do for now… :/

@YM: I’m applying to Wharton, if that’s what you were asking haha and hopefully concentrate on Global Analysis or Social Impact&Responsibility along with Finance.

Are you applying to Wharton as well by any chance? :]
