@PurpleDragon – Where did you hear this?!
@Hopper2019 IvyWise
Thursday it is…officially.
Just got an email from Dartmouth confirming that notification date is on Thursday
JUST GOT THE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION EMAIL! The released date is 12/13 this thursday 4:00 ET
Best of luck to everyone who applied ED!
Thursday 4 PM EST
Did people’s dates change just for the Financial Aid or for the Application materials too
@123bruhwhat22 Only my Financial Aid dates changed.
My financial aid dates just changed to 12/10…
I am now entirely convinced that date changes mean nothing.
@rhine7567 I’m curious…why?
BEST OF LUCK GUYS!!! I’m rooting for all of us!
My dates haven’t changed at all since I submitted my application except for my portfolio submission being added. I haven’t had any issues with my financial aid application either, so it’s very likely that it means nothing.
Dartmouth is a very old institution. They’re unlikely to let the likelihood of you getting into the school slip through something as basic as the dates on your application. The fixation on it is a little hard for me to grasp lol. Not sure who started saying it was something significant.
@guyfieri I agree, they wouldn’t let this slide ya dig?
@guyfierifan @123bruhwhat22 lol I think its just that any changes in the portal add to the stress and anxiety of everyone. I’m also convinced these date changes mean nothing
I’m sure the date changes indicate something, I just don’t know what they mean.
It probably means that something updated with your financial aid information, and the financial aid team was sent something in regards to it. It might also be their system spazzing out. It wouldn’t make sense for them to update your portal whenever they access your application, or for them to simultaneously update all of the students that were accepted/deffered/rejected on the same day.
We have nothing to do but wait until Thursday. Stressing out about the dates on our profile isn’t going to do much, haha.
I am so nervous :(((. Opened naviance and looked at admission history at our school. Tons of rejects with higher SAT and gpa :((((. But all of them were regular decisions. Hoping that my ED will demonstrate devotion.
Sadly ED does not provide as big of a boost as we’d all hope
