honest opinions. feel free to give me feedback about my chances of getting into Notre Dame as well (also a legacy there because my mom attended ND)

You’re about as solid as any unhooked candidate could be. The only thing that might be worrying is your low writing score, but that’s not a huge deal.

Poster is a legacy. Looking very good. But we’ve seen strange things happen. Expect the best, but still be prepared for if bad news comes.

Here’s my guess. Not particularly strong stats or ECs. Legacy is your only hope.

Your chances are good, especially if you start in the ED round. Work to get your Verbal score up about 660, it is currently a blemish on a strong record. Write a decent essay.

C’Bad Dad doesn’t know what he is talking about.

My guess is a 50/50 chance.

I think that legacy + leadership roles + strong stats gives you a good chance in the ED round. My question would be a) what kind of course rigor do you have, b) what kind of class rank do you have (ie, if your school doesn’t rank, what is your GPA going to look like when they compare it to your school profile info?), c) I’m bad at the 4.0 scale. Is a 3.8 an A-?, and d) any chance of writing an essay that is more than “solid”?

Course rigor: as hard as it can possibly get in my school. i’ve taken the hardest possible course available everytime

my school doesn’t rank

my 3.8 GPA unweighted is like…a 95-96% average in all my classes

i don’t think that legacy is my only hope though but i could be wrong. and my essay isn’t the best ever written but from what my counselers said it is very good and unique

you seem like a very solid candidate! However, all dartmouth applicant will be very competitive. Best of Luck! :)
