I am seriously contemplating not retaking the SAT II in October before I ED princeton. So far, my SAT II's have been: World History 770, US Hist 770, Bio M 700, and IIC 640 (OUCH!) I'm def taking Latin and Lit in october. So I was wondering how much will it hurt me not to have a Math SAT II (I'm not doing math in college, most likely, as I want to be an IR, Poly-sci, and neuroscience major) and how many ppl have gotten into Dartmouth without a math SAT II, or how much that 640 will hurt me like hell. I know Dart only requires two SAT II's.

That's Dartmouth's page about testing requirements.
They will use your top two scores BUT they will see all your SAT II scores since the collegeboard won't let us do score choice anymore (b*stards).
Also, a lot of colleges won't accept two SAT II's from the same subject (e.g. World and US History). Dartmouth says "Any Two SAT II Subject Tests" so they may accept both histories, you'll have to email them or I'm sure someone who knows a lot more than I do will respond to this thread.

i know some colleges does this, but does Dartmouth have people who copy down the highest scores so that the admissions officers will only see those scores and won't be affected by other lower scores....i think but i'm not sure that i read some book written by a past harvard admissions officers who mentioned that's what harvard did when he was still there

Yeah, I've heard that too. At some colleges when the Collegeboard or ACT sends test scores to the admissions office, there is someone who receives all the scores at a computer then takes only the highest to the admissions board. I'd like to know if Dartmouth does this as well, I'm sure someone knows...
