From Dartmouth's website

Standardized Tests for Transfer Students
You should submit the results of:

The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) -- either as listed on your official high school transcript or reported directly from the College Board
At least three College Board SAT II: Subject Tests
Any Advanced Placement exams you may have taken
In addition, if your native language is not English, you are required to submit results of the TOEFL exam.

Please help me answer these questions:
Do we have to submit our SAT Subject Test? I only have SAT I. It will be a big problem if I have to take SAT II.

According to the directions you posted, you MUST take at least THREE Sat II Subject Tests. You should do fine on these examinations. I don't know your situation but you should do fine. Hopefully, the intro courses you have taken in college will help you on the tests.

unless you have 1500ish/1600 SAT I and 750ish SAT II (each)
and about 3.8+ college GPA (coming from respectable colleges, i.e. Amherst, William) Dartmouth won't take you, it's too competitive. It's a very score oriented school (like all good schools)

So generally, I must have SAT II in order to apply to Dartmouth???

i actually called them the other day. the woman from the transfer dept told me this: "you are 'required' to have 3 satII tests. however, as a transfer you ARE allowed to request an exception so that the adcoms will still look at your application without the tests. but without the tests, your application would have to be unusually strong in other ways in order to have any chance of getting accepted."

what this means is that if you are seriously interested in transferring to dartmouth, take the tests.

it's 2 SAT II subject tests, not 3

"At least three College Board SAT II: Subject Tests"

I dunno, perhaps they changed it? I don't remember questioning the actual number of tests.

i think they haven't revised the transfer page yet. I have a feeling that it is 3 SAT II's if you took the SAT I and 2 SAT subject tests if you took the SAT Reasoning Test (New SAT).

However, I haven't confirmed this..
