Dartmouth Card

Hi guys! (again :P)

I was wondering about the enclosed card in the Dartmouth card letter. Does the information in the letter meant that the money is already in the card when we receive it at Dartmouth or are we supposed to fill out the information in the card (Credit card number, expiration date, etc.) in order to get a certain value in the card? I hope this makes sense. :(

You really won’t need a dartmouth card since you can use debit credit pretty much any where on campus. I think my daughter used to keep money on it for laundry but that is just about it.

You do need a Dartmouth card DA$H account for vending machines, laundry machines, buying T shirts sold by various organizations, printing if you run out of greenprint money and can use it for buying hop tickets, buying things at the computer store, that sort of thing. BUT, your DASH can go to -$99, so if you want to start with zero and then see how much you spend, you can do that, and just pay off the balance on your next bill. For example, my parents put $200 on my freshman fall, and that saw me through I think the start of freshman spring. I went through a lot my last on term, but that’s because I bought some computer stuff on DASH.
