Dartmouth Chances

I'm currently a sophomore in high school and I'm not too sure what I can do to increase my chances of getting into Dartmouth, my current top choice. As of now, my ECs include student government, various clubs, NHS, piano (10 years), and swimming (8 years). I'm hoping that my extended dedication towards the latter two will help my case. My community service is fairly decent but I'm going to step it up next year. I'm taking two AP courses in junior year and planning to take three senior year. My school is fairly rigorous and extremely challenging when it comes to AP and honors classes so the absolute max I can take is 3 if I want to maintain all of my ECs. I am definitely IN LOVE and enjoy every one of my ECs and have a solid GPA. Any advice as to what more I can do to make Dartmouth happen? Also, any advice towards successful SAT and ACT scores?

I always find this question a bit silly.
Score as high as you can. That’s the only advice you need.

If you were told you needed a 2200 would you really approach the test any differently than if you were told you needed a 2000?

No.

Prepare well and do the best you can.
