Status: Early Decision Application and Materials sent! Hakuna Matata!

I just received an email from my alma mater saying that California applicants don't have to get their ED paperwork in until Nov 9 because of the fires. I wonder if other colleges are following suit.

another RDer here...

My son submitted his ED app yesterday!

Congratulations rainmama!

My common app page still shows school forms as offline

Thanks ajay - he's very relieved, and was able to enjoy Halloween! So, are you going to start an official ED thread?

I'm no expert on the common app, but doesn't "offline" just mean those school forms won't be submitted electronically? I don't think Dartmouth would go into the common app site and update it when snail mail delivers your counselor and teacher recommendations. I looked at the common app checklist this morning, and it listed S's Dartmouth app as "downloaded," which is what it should say after you've submitted and Dartmouth has downloaded it. So if yours says that for the main app, I think you're fine.

^ I guess you are correct about the school forms. :)

ED Thread coming up!

wooohoo!

I finally got my company its site! Lunexplorers - Home

Everyone is welcome to post their feedback.

Atleast its going to be something other than ED dicussions!

Wow, you guys are the real early birds.
I started writing my essay on Oct 25 and finished it on Oct26. Sent all my stuffs on Nov1 exactly. No wonder they have not been received.
Wow, I just did not know ppl wonder about their application essays 2 3 months before the deadlines. Seems like I need to start writing down one for my regular decisions. I am just not satisfied with the one I had written for my ED to Dartmouth.
Thanks for inspiring.:)
