I’m not really Expecting it, but that would be awesome! Maybe Saturday is more likely though

Guys…what will my life be if I don’t get accepted

Aspirare, the way to fix those thoughts is to switch that statement to “what will my life be if I do get accepted.” I think we should all think positively, but with the understanding most of us won’t get in and it’d be awesome if we did, not awful if we don’t.

“Admissions Officers are reviewing the files of all Early Decision applicants. Decisions will be released in early December, so stay tuned!”

Heart.in.stomach.now.

Where does it say that?

It’s the first quote from the Dartmouth Admissions page. I don’t think it’s a notification though; hope they come out soon :(

Is the Admissions Office even open on weekends though? Like Saturday and Sunday?

Early December means like December 6th or 7th, lets not get too excited here.

No email yet. I’m so nervous!

I think the mail notifying us about when decisions will be released will be sent on Monday. I believe admissions offices close during the weekends, just like any other job ;)

My first quarter grades essentially just came out. I did well, but is there a point of sending them at this this point, especially when decisions come out in a few days? I won’t be able to send them until Monday, and decisions are coming out on Thursday.

I feel like they’re gonna release decisions on the 11th…

Well, when I called today asking about something, they still said that the date of release as of right now is the 6th.

woooo let’s all hope for the 6th

I mean, at this point, I don’t really see them changing the date by much, if at all.

It’s pretty late into the process and if they’ve been saying the 6th, it must mean that their in essence done and perhaps simply finalizing at this point.

yeah i think so too, if theyre approximating a date as less than a week from now, theyve probably already finished almost everything. I doubt that there would be any major delays at this point

I’m just so torn between the desire to check the results as soon as possible and the desire to not know perhaps for a few more days… I don’t think I’ll be able to click the final button to check the results!! All the acceptance letters for D start with “Congratulations!!”, right?

Very good question… How does it start?

Idk how old this is, but letters shouldn’t have changed too much since then right?

Just reading those letters makes me nervous!

Do you think the smaller applicant pool will mean more ED acceptances?
