Any of you guys Britishmen by any chance?

I just want to wish all of you good luck with decisions today. My D is a senior at Dartmouth, and she could not have had a better college experience anywhere. She absolutely loves it. Please keep your hopes up if you are deferred. My D applied ED, was deferred, and she got in during the RD cycle. She was able to improve her application, so the time worked in her favor. If you are denied admission, please know that things have a way of working out for the best. The vast majority of people end up loving their school, even if it originally was not their first choice.

Well said dumbo11. S is a '16 and has also loved Dartmouth thus far. He was accepted ED and I hope the same for all of you. If not though, as dumbo11 says there are SO many great schools out there and it will work out. Good luck!!
