***Dartmouth Class of 2020 RD Applicant Thread***

Still a bit early, but figured I’d start this for those of us not applying ED! Best of luck to everyone

Anyone have a chance to visit the campus?

Hey guys! I just spent the whole day at Dartmouth this last Saturday. I personally loved it!!! It has a very “summer camp” and outdoorsy vibe. The town of Hanover is crazy small though, so if you want 19 different kinds of Chinese food, a jumping nightlife, and/or any urban extravagance, then Dartmouth probably isn’t for you.

Dean of Admissions will be hosting a chat this Thursday on Facebook. Thought it might be helpful to this thread too! https://www.facebook.com/Dartmouth/photos/a.10151940695571125.1073741830.46974596124/10153617137461125/?type=3&theater

you will get in even without hooks, although your income is really high for being 1st gen

Super pumped for Dartmouth!! Best of luck to all of you guys this fall

Hey everyone, I have a question about sending SAT scores. On Dartmouth’s FAQs page, they say “We only consider your highest two SAT Subject Test scores from 2 different Subject Tests.” I received the same score on the three SAT Subject Tests that I took (Math II, Physics, Chemistry) so I’m not sure what to send. Should I just send all of them, along with my SAT I score? Thanks

Hi guys, international applicant from India applying during RD. Any other international applicant on this thread?

@anotherdude lol nice username; yea, me, i’m from romania

Thanks for making this thread! I submitted my Dartmouth common app tonight and I’m really nervous! Good luck to everyone!

Good luck to all of you and hopefully we’ll all be on campus together next year!

Good luck, all.

Hey guys :~)) Got deferred from Princeton yesterday, but Dartmouth is my second choice! I think I might even be falling in love with it more than Princeton now… Happy to join this thread and go through the process again!! Good luck to all ;~)))

deferred from cornell, but dartmouth is in my top 5 so we’ll see where this goes

@likefireworks, I’d send them all, unless you want to send by percentages, which will vary by exam. Kinda pointless though - let them see how versatile you are.

@SirPepsi OK, I think I will do that. Thanks for the advice!

Hello, CC. Glad to meet some RD applicants here.

Hey guys. RD applicant here.

Guys, how do you submit a research supplement to Dartmouth? (If at all you can). I’d appreciate a swift response. Applying tomorrow… lol

Once you’ve applied, you can send in Additional Information via their portal, but there may be a way to share using the Common App if you select that you’ve conducted reputable research.
