Officially checked out– 1 amazing unexpected acceptance. I’m ready to take all the L’s colleges throw at me now!!

accepted to SMU, michigan (still waiting on business)
waitlisted at uchicago
rejected from MIT
waiting for stanford, harvard, yale, Princeton, columbia, dartmouth

really wish i could be accepted to a school that i was really excited about so i could stop worrying

Accepted to Loyola Chicago, U of Washington, Sarah Lawrence
Deferred from Michigan
Waitlisted at U of Chicago
Rejected from Yale
Waiting to hear a decision from 12 schools essentially

@nicolasdeadman you look like my Dartmouth Interviewer to a T- take that as a good sign of admission on March 28

@IlluminatiIsReal deferred Harvard SCEA, accepted U of Idaho (full ride), accepted Colorado School of Mines, accepted Syracuse ($28k/yr merit), accepted U of Nevada-Reno (honors program, $16k/yr merit), waitlisted MIT. I’ve got my fingers crossed for some more places in the East–I want to be closer to my grandparents.

@Lemonade22 hahaha, hope so! maybe that means that i’ll be an alumni

Hey guys! Fellow Dartmouth applicant here who got in Yale SCEA and Duke likely letter; so are Dartmouth likely letters for real? Or only for stem?

So far accepted to Cornell(likely letter), Williams College, Hopkins, Georgia tech, stony brook, and northeastern.
Rejected from MIT
and waiting on the rest of the ivies besides brown, duke, and stanford
Hoipefully dartmouth comes thru!

Accepted to Cornell (Engineering; Early Write), Williams College (Physics), and Smith College (Engineering; Early Write)
Waitlisted at UChicago
Rejected from Swarthmore
Waiting on Princeton (Deferred EA), Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Penn, Rice, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Carnegie Mellon, and Case Western.

BTW I was given fee waivers to all but Vanderbilt and Dartmouth either through applying to their fly-in programs or through QuestBridge. I was not a QB finalist but some of the schools I ranked ended up sending me fee waivers anyway. My family income was right on the cusp for QB, so I hope that was the reason why I wasn’t a finalist.

International student needing a near-full ride here! :b Accepted Wooster, Williams, waitlisted at UChicago and Trinity College, rejected from MIT.

Waiting on more women’s colleges, Vanderbilt, Vassar, and ivies.

International student here as well
Accepted to Johns Hopkins, Northeastern Honors, UC Davis, University of Toronto
Waitlisted at UC San Diego, Georgia Tech and UIUC
Rejected by Yale SCEA, MIT, UCLA

Waiting for almost 10+ colleges including some ivies

@filipiyes Seems like we are on the same boat! International student from an over represented country needing full ride is tough. I was waitlisted at three colleges. Maybe I ask for too much financial aid. lol

@filipiyes @quitpro Same situation here! Asian in STEM on top of that :stuck_out_tongue:

Have any other internationals had new documents aside from the CSS profile pop up in their applicant portal? Had new ones added this week

edit: dartmouth i love you and would give you my life. please be a sign amen

@filipiyes I sent all the required documents before the deadline, so no new update on my portal. I love Dartmouth as well!

Because I sent them an email with my parent’s tax returns, they added it to my financial aid application checklist.

@filipiyes Do you have any documents apart from CSS and “Financial Aid Application Materials” in your checklist?

@IlluminatiIsReal I have that in my checklist.

Yeah, those are the documents. I think the important thing is just the financial aid notification reminder. Because I am an angsty, overthinking teenage child I found past threads that show a correlation to the late FA reminder and good signs on decision day; did anyone else get reminders this year?

@filipiyes Yes. I want to read something into it but after all the rejections I was slammed with this week, I’m going to say it doesn’t mean much, if anything at all.
