@GoodACT - Woah man!! 9/12 is pretty awesome!!

I have 3 acceptances and a wait list. 5 rejections await me on 28th! Haha.
I really can’t make head or tail of the decisions though. Was wait listed at Case Western and then was accepted (with Intn’l FA) to Northwestern!!

Right now, I’m still looking at the Northwestern acceptance as a clerical error of some kind!! Haha!! :p

And it has now given me a fake sense of hope for Ivy day. Though I know that NU was my best app and it probably is the reason behind my acceptance. So Ivies are not gonna be for me.

you have no idea how many times I’ve gotten that… lol. apparently I made this username AGES ago and forgot I had it or something? when I tried to register for CC last spring, it told me I already had an account attached to my email, so I’m stuck with this one. I don’t mind it though, makes for some funny encounters.

Anyway - 7/7 is still awesome. Congrats!! I have a feeling you’ll be getting good news come Thursday. and @rishav - congrats also on Northwestern! :)

Hey guys I’m a little late, but got likelies from Dartmouth & Wellesley. Accepted to Amherst, Emory, & Claremont McKenna. Doing well so far, but nervous about next week of course.

My top choice was Brown for the longest (deferred ED). I kinda deliberately shifted my focus away from the Ivies, but after the likely from Dartmouth, I’m just gonna be opened! I’m a singer/songwriter & over the past few months I’ve also really fallen in love with the contemporary music program at USC. Favorite Ivy right now is Columbia.

Congrats on acceptances/likely letters & best of luck in the coming few days!

So, 4/7 right now. I’m expecting… maybe 2 more acceptances (CMU + Wisconsin), 3 more waitlists (Penn, Berkeley, Dartmouth), and 1 more rejection (Columbia)? For a 6/13 total. Almost 50%. Good enough for me. :)

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if Dartmouth is known for taking demonstrated interest into great consideration? They didn’t have a supplement and it seems like other schools, like Wash U, who also don’t have supplements tend to look A LOT at it…

This is just anecdotal, but I showed basically no interest in Dartmouth, yet I got a likely. I really don’t think a school of their caliber is overly worried about yield protection.

Agree that decisions are random. Hopefully everyone applied to a variety of schools so that on Thursday you will have options regardless of how this particular decision goes.

I’ve never joined one of these forum things before decisions come out…but what the heck! I’m not really too stressed out for ivy day, I doubt I’ll go to Dartmouth if I get in, because of the rural location, just scared that there might be nothing to do like on weekends. So far I’ve been waitlisted by Boston U and U of C. Gotten into NU, UCLA, UVA and Fordham. International student btw.

So I didn’t apply to Dartmouth, but now in hindsight I probably should’ve done Dartmouth instead of Duke!

I’m an applicant from India, and I was waitlisted at NU, so I’m kind of sad, was looking at this thread cause if I end up unhappy at university next year I’ll be sure to apply to Dartmouth as a transfer!

So till today I’ve been accepted into Michigan Ann Arbor (EA), UIUC (EA-equivalent), UCSD, UCD, UCLA and Wisconsin-Madison. I was deferred from Brown (ED), and was waitlisted at NU earlier this week.

Wish you guys good luck for the rest of your admissions, and hope we’re all content with our decisions by the end of this week!
