@kb199977 thank you i appreciate it!! maybe i’ll just keep applying until they accept me; tire them out haha :))
next year should be exciting, im applying to 15 schools :))
I would encourage you all to apply next year, if at all possible. This was my “second round” of transfer admissions and it goes without saying, it went much better than my first. 10 colleges on the first round, 10 rejections (O.K., 2 soft-rejections, i.e. waitlist).
Be sure to make the most of this coming year. Get internships, if you’re from a community college, apply for the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship. Get a paper published in your school magazine, leadership positions, etc.
Thank you so much for the advice @AGoodFloridian you’re a great person and im so happy that you’re going to your dream school, you deserve it! You inspire me heavily.
Reeejected. Less than 10 spots. Wonder how likely it is that Dartmouth will accept more than 20 students (if ever) like they used to.
Hey guys. Thanks for an awesome application season, nonetheless! I’m honored to have gotten to know people like you.
@JRTTRJ what’s the chance you’d post your stats and maybe a little bit about how you approached the application process this year to maybe give some of us some guidance for next year?
For future reference, Dartmouth just emailed us today that they will not take anyone from the waitlist:’)
"Dear (me),
I am writing to inform you that we will not be activating Dartmouth’s transfer waiting list. I hope this notification will allow you to move forward with your plans for the next academic year.
My colleagues and I appreciate your interest in Dartmouth. We wish you all the best with your future educational endeavors.
Sincere regards,
Paul Sunde
Director of Admissions"
